Ah, Axl has to team up with Greenpeace to clean up the filth of the United States Air Force. Judging by the sign, the water is so polluted, even repliroids will rust if they stay in there for a long time. A good-looking drawing with a soft gradient sunset.

"Alright Axl, if you really want to be a Maverick Hunter, take a dip in this radioactive oil spill and defeat the boss hiding in that ancient rocket. I'll just sit here and watch the sunset, pondering why I have to fight time and time again. Deal?!" The background is really beautiful. The sun's reflection in the water looks very natural. I actually like how there are some darker clouds around and it's not the typical always sunny beach scene.

I wouldn't swim in there if you asked me. Looks like Axl just lost a bet and he HAS to take a dip in that tarpit. Poor guy - at least there's a beautiful sunset at the surface. :)
