Hitoshi Ariga updated his blog today in order to give us a concrete date for the release of Volume 2 of Rockman Gigamix. And that date is at the end of this month, on Saturday, February 27th. Just a few days after Udon's English adaptation of Megamix hits stores, actually. Gigamix 2 is going to retail for about 1,200 Yen. It sounds like he has been working really hard to complete this volume, and really wants to take a break, but he still has so much more to do, such as getting a cover prepared.
Unfortunately, there isn't even a slight tease yet about the fate of any of our 'throw-away character' designs for this volume, but perhaps we will still learn before the books hit shelves. If not, Ariga is keeping it as a surprise until we can see for ourselves on the 27th.
According to Shinseido [Online retailer for music & visual entertainment], Rockman 10: Uchu Kara no Kyoui!! Original Soundtrack will be released in Japan on march, 23 for 2.500 yens.
The soundtrack will have 46 tracks in it, and a 12 page full color booklet.

That disc will have a total of 13 tracks. In that disc, there will be a Arrange version of the Rockman 10 Title theme, a Chiptune Arrange of Nitro Man Stage theme and a Non-Stop Remix of the 8 Robot Master Stages from Rockman 9. The bonus disc will also be available sometime in March.
Most importantly, the 12 page Full Color Booklet that comes with the soundtrack. It will have Official Illustrations/Drawings, and also comments from different people, like Sound Producer Ippo Yamada, Producer Hironobu Takeshita and Designer Hayato Tsuru. Finally, there will be comments and illustrations from Rockman X Manga Artist Shigeto Ikehara.

This year was so much more organized, and there were some fun votes here and there, but most of them were pretty good this year. Something to mention is that, some of the members have a second name next to them, so it's easier to know who they are.
The votes on the Special Awards section have all become links, so if you want to know more about that vote, click it. This includes things like flash videos, music tracks, forum topics, and so on. We decided to do this, for your convenience, so that you don't have to search for these things yourself. This work took a couple of days and weeks, but in the end, things got more organized that way, and you are able to click on something and enjoy them for what they are. ^^
Oh, there's a special thing added in the RPM Awards. If someone filled out the awards list FULLY and COMPLETELY, they would get a bonus point on every category they were voted on. The members that did it was *drum roll* Dr. Wily II and VixyNyan. But only Dr. Wily II gets the bonus points, because 1) he did it first and 2) he wasn't a staff member back when the awards started. You can see the bonus point next to his name in the awards.

Capcom USA and Capcom Europe just announced the release date for the Mega Man Zero Collection. The game will hit store shelves early this summer.

The Mega Man ZERO Collection is comprised of all four Mega Man ZERO titles bundled together. The portable Mega Man® fun will begin when the title arrives in early Summer 2010.
The first Mega Man ZERO game was released in 2002 on the GameBoy® Advance. It featured Zero, a popular Capcom character that was introduced in the Mega Man® X series. The Mega Man ZERO series follows Zero through a dark and thrilling 2D action-adventure with high-quality visuals and action. Users can expect to make use of Zero’s trademarks weapons like the Z-sabor and Buster Shot. There will also be interesting devices like the Chain Rod and Zero Knuckle. For the first time, the Mega Man ZERO series will be available for Nintendo DS™, complete with all-new modes.
In Mega Man Zero our hero awakens after 100 years of sleep to a world where innocent reploids (robots) are unjustly attacked by an organization called "Neo Arcadia". This new government has turned the world into a place where it is extremely hard for reploids to live and where they are under constant persecution. Reploids who have managed to escape from the punishment flee to an old city which now lies in ruin, but the evil Neo Arcadia is closing-in on their location. A genius scientist named Ciel, who lives with the innocent reploids in hopes of saving them, tries to revive the legendary reploid Mega Man Zero in order to save the cornered reploids. As Mega Man Zero, it is up to you to save the world.
In Mega Man® Zero 2, it has been one year since Zero saved the reploids and defeated the evil advance of Copy X and Neo Arcadia. Nevertheless, Neo Arcadia still hunts him and sets a trap for our hero. His plan is to trick Zero and use him to wreak chaos between reploids and humans once again. But, can he succeed?
Mega Man® Zero 3 is set in a world called "Neo Arcadia" that has been created as a utopia for humans and reploids. The website Xbox360 Achievements has put together an official list of the achievements you can unlock for Mega Man 10, with a total worth of 200G points.
WHOMP WILY! (5) Clear the game once.
BLUE BOMBER (10) Clear the game in under an hour.
SUPERHERO (10) Clear the game on HARD.
HARD ROCK (20) Make it to a boss room without getting damaged.
HEADBANGING (20) Defeat the 8 bosses without your helmet on.
DESTROYER (20) Defeat 1000 enemies.
WORLD WARRIOR (5) Defeat one of every type of enemy.
TRUSTY SIDEARM (20) Defeat the 8 bosses with just your default weapon.
NO COFFEE BREAK (10) Clear the game without using any energy, mystery, or weapon tanks.

These looks very similar to the Mega Man 9 achievements, with a few changes to fit Mega Man 10 this time. Look forward to the game coming out in March, on a Monday in the US, and on a Tuesday in Japan. More exact details coming later.
While there are obviously much more important fanart contests going on right now *cough*lessthanamonthleft*cough*, Capcom-Unity just launched a cool new contest with some pretty outstanding prizes. The contest will run weekly into March, leading up to Mega Man 10's release date.
Each week there will be an artistic battle royale, with the theme being for you to draw something featuring one of the 8 MM10 Robot Masters. First up is COMMANDO MAN.
You can only submit one picture per week. Entries will be due Friday mornings at 7 AM PST, and then all the entries will be put up in a poll for Unity members to vote on. Each week, somebody will win a copy of BOTH the Mega Man and Mega Man X Official Complete Works. And to make things even better, the winning entries each week will be entered into the finals, where the grand prize winner will receive an autographed sketch from Inafune and Ariga. One of those that we saw during the 22nd Anniversary Broadcast. Can't get any more awesome than that!
Cool thing is, those of us who have already drawn a pic featuring any given Robot Master (you know who you are) can submit them. All pics, regardless if they even appeared on the Unity site already, are eligible. But you're still going to have to work fast if you plan to enter every week.
To enter, just send your art in a PM to jgonzo with the subject clearly stating "Commando Man Art Submission" [obviously for each following week, just switch the RM's name].

You people want a Mega Man Legends 3 like I do? Or a Power Stone 3? Resident Evil Outbreak File 3? Marvel VS. Capcom 3? You all better go tell them was'sup, because this is probably the most direct opportunity to tell them what you want, ever.
You all better speak up if you want Capcom to make a new Mega Man or Power Stone game, otherwise not participating will mean you surrendering your right to [sonic slicer] about anything to them. So get going!
